Mylar capacitor is also known as polyester film capacitor, CL11
inductive metal foil type polyester film capacitor. Two metal foils
are used as electrodes, sandwiched in a very thin insulating medium
and rolled into a cylindrical or flat cylindrical core. The medium
is polyester.
